Where to park & start riding
Map to The Look Out Discovery Centre
Travelling by train?
The nearest station is Martin's Heron. From here take the B3430 south. Cross the A322 via the cycleway and footbridge, then head for The Look Out.
There are many miles of trails within the forest, some obvious, some well hidden. Start by using the map to follow the Mountain Bike Trails to the Expert Mountain Bike Area. You will find singletrack diving off here and there, just follow it and see where you end up. Please note that all trails are bidirectional so riders maybe coming toward you, exercise due caution and give way where appropriate.
Over time you'll find more trails and begin to string together a good loop. Alternatively why not enter one of our race events in the forest or hook up with some locals to guide you round.
